I am a busy Goverment lawyer. I recently was a customer at Golds Real Estate,Haringey during a reasonably difficult period in real estate rentals. It seems to me that -Extraordinary as this may seem - the practice of Gazumping has struck mere modest retail leases - this places both agents and customers in a very difficult situation - as the usual agreements are not honoured, and negotiations are undermined.
During such a process, I found the behaviour of your staff member aslam, to be very helpful and thoughtful throughout : in which I sought, viewed ,paid a deposit on and then lost a flat. this default was quite a worrying suprise to me - but it was also a professional setback for aslam as he spent most of one afternoon negotiationg, one site visit and an amount of correspondence - while ultimately being let down by his owner /landlord client.
I note his quickness, and his coutesy throughout trying to settle this lease originally - and his negotiating seemed to me to attempt to strike a fair deal netween two customers - and I hope you note this as a customer satisfaction observation, from one of the parties.
I further noted that I was contacted by Aslam again in an attempt to provide me with a flat simmilar to the one in which the landlord defaulted. This and dealings with your other staff, has been a pleasant aspect of quite an unpleasant and indeed turbulent time in trying to simply rent property in your area. I compliment your staff and organisation on their customer service
